clarissa+austin wedding

clarissa and austin were a complete joy to work with. clarissa booked me very quickly and i'm so glad she did! their engagement session was so, so fun (austin is pretty much the sweetest man to her and anyone around him!). 
I knew their wedding would also be fun to shoot. they got married at a gorgeous, rustic but updated barn. no detail was forgotten and the day was a perfect august day. including being about 105 degrees with the heat index. 
no one melted and everyone had a ball.

and down the isle they went! they made the traditional decision to not see each other before clarissa walked down the isle. austin's reaction was the sweetest. =)

i loved this look clarissa gave to her daddy before he gave her away. it's like she's saying, 
"i love you, pops" 
with her eyes. 
just loved it!

SUCH a gorgeous ceremony! outdoor ceremonies are the BEST!!! I'd choose them every time!

sometimes the stars align (literally) and the lighting is perfectly through a 2x2 window in the barn to shine a spotlight on your bride and groom. 
holy cow PERFECT!!!

and the lighting and shot was so perfect i had to include a black and white one too cropped a bit differently.. 

and the dj did this fun dance where austin had to win the dancing approval of his bride and her bridesmaids before he got her garter off. he took his dance-off VERY seriously. 

to which the girls denied his first attempt. 

so then his groomsmen had to get together and figure out their plan to get the bridesmaids approval. 

it finally worked and austin was awarded the garter. SUCH a fun game and they really hammed it up!
