Good luck at Manchester in the fall, Jack! You are going to be great at whatever you choose to do!
Jack is a quiet, kind soul I met up with this past Sunday. It was a quick mini session that I think was perfect for Jack.

This family.. man they were adorable and a dream to work with! Cindy (the mama) holds a special place in our heart... she purchased our last home from us! It's always fun to know that someone loves your house as much as you did. Her family is GORGEOUS and she has so, so much to be proud of.
Had a great time with Trevor and his mama on Saturday evening! First of all, I LOVE to see moms and sons with good relationships. Does my heart good. =)
Trevor is a Jimtown senior that's quite studly on the football, basketball and baseball fields. He was totally respectable to me and I even made him laugh numerous times.. I consider it a win when I can make an 18 year old boy laugh! Best of luck to you in whatever you choose, Trevor! Meet another summer 2016 couple.. Karston and Briana! After I shot a few images I told them how photogenic they were! Briana then informed me that they've been told that many times before. =) I can see why!
Their wedding is in August and with how photogenic they were at their engagement session.. their wedding portraits are going to be GORGEOUS! Can't wait, guys! Carey and Josh are not only an August wedding of mine but also a couple in the small group my hubby and I lead. They are SUCH a sweet couple that is in love with each other and in love with Jesus. It's SO fun to see them navigate their lives together all with seeking out God's guidance. Their wedding is going to be gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous and I can't wait.. but most importantly I can't wait to see these two be married! It was Carey and Josh's idea to head to the place that they met.. this pavilion at a mutual friends graduation open house. It's where it all began! and then you sweet talk your husband and the groom to carry your office couch out to the field beside your house. I had a vision and needed some muscles...
Abbi had her second senior session on Saturday evening.. and man was it perfect weather! We had snow just a few days before this 80 degree day.. Indiana weather can be schizophrenic. But we were glad to be on the "up" swing of the schizophrenicness.. is that a word? It is now!
Abbi has a few "loves" and we captured them beautifully! Her first love is her two buddies, Blue and JJ. They were full of personality and I'm always memorized by horses! Her other love is volleyball.. she's going to play at Eastern Mennonite University next year! Had a BLAST with you at your sessions this year, Abbi! Best of luck to you! The weather is warming up here in Northern Indiana and it's the end of a school year so that can only mean one thing.. SENIORS!!!!
Met up with the beautiful Lexi on Tuesday night for her senior session! She picked out adorable clothes and her smile was simply stunning. We had fun finding the perfect spots for her ideal senior session. I wish the best of luck to you, Lexi, in all that you do! You are going to be GREAT! Oh what a memorable wedding Kim and Ryan's day was! Kim was the first to admit that she planned an April 2nd wedding so you never know what you are going to get in the weather department.. but never would any of us dream that the weather would be a snow storm with 50 MPH winds! We pushed through and made the best out of formal portraits and they were all SUCH troopers with how cold and windy it was! Kim and Ryan have such a sweet story that starts with Kim's best friend calling the school her son went to and asking if their new principal was married (that would be Ryan). It is such a fun story that will be epic from generation to generation! Good thing he was single and has amazing taste in awesome girls because it led to their marriage! Other than the weather, the day was perfect and went according to plan in every way. They sure don't look like they are freezing, do they?! Kim is a St. Mary's grad so it was awesome that we were able to utilize the inside of a building AND it had meaning for Kim! Why yes.. those are snowflakes swirling around in the pics! Kim.. these doors were made for you and your pretty wedding gown! The blooms of the magnolia tree were still open even in the snow! I didn't have the nerve to tell her the day wasn't (completely) about her! So we'll just let her shine in her own little glory! Kim just had one attendant.. her sister. Of course her and her mama helped button up her dress! Kim and Ryan went with the traditional approach to waiting to see each other as she walked down the isle. It always produces sweet images! Ryan's "after the kiss" smirk was too cute not to blog! Next up.. the reception at gorgeous Windsor Park! The NEW Mr. and Mrs. Towner! Look! There's Ashley.. (blond to the left).. that called up the school and asked if the principal was single. This wedding wouldn't have existed without her (awesome and adorable) boldness! This crowd could DANCE! Including the bride and groom.... The white-out conditions and 50 MPH winds in April couldn't detract this day from being as perfect as it was. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Towner!
the bigelows and my fam are in a very special club.. the three little ladies club! obviously I can relate with my families that I have a ton in common with.. and this is one of them! they told their parents that they had so much fun on their drive home from our session.. always a HUGE goal of mine! i'm pretty sure you can imagine the little squeals when you look at some of these images!
til next time, bigelow family! |
