GUYS! This e-session is just about the most perfect fall engagement session that there ever was! It was fun to meet this May 2021 bride and groom that have been together for almost 6 years! We shot at Sydney's childhood lake house and had a blast. I know May 2021 will be here before we know it but for now I know they are enjoying their engagement and all things wedding planning!
Wonder what parents may look like seconds before a really amazing picture is taken? That example would be on the left of the below picture and after grandma "fly" in their baby we got the second image on the right!
Up next.. Riley's senior session!
Not only is he at the top of his class academically but the dude is an amazing tennis and basketball player. I may also have been a creepy old lady and asked him if he could sing because he totally has a boy-band look. =) Riley is going places so I was honored to be apart of taking his senior pics! Ooooookayyyyyyy... fabulous wedding coming atcha!
MAN what an amazing day yesterday was at Megan and Nick's wedding! This was the first time that a 4-legged doggie was apart of the wedding ceremony! Wrigley had Enjoy these sneaks of their glorious nuptials! One of my favorite days of the year! Ganger family pictures! First of all.. I am partial to families with 3 daughters AND they are fun to be around! And gorgeous! And full of personality! ALWAYS my favorite combo's!
Heather and Justin's annual session was last evening! AND Layla got to come! Confession.. my goal when a 4-legged family member comes to a session is to get them to do the "head cock" while I'm talking about treats, long walks and going bye-bye. Layla gave me MANY so I consider it a win!
Til next time, Justin and Heather! Been with the Miller family for YEARS! It was time for an updated family pic! God bless them for being able to do an early morning session! Aren't they just gorgeous?
Our annual meet up for family pics with the Edwards family coming atcha! And let me tell ya.. shooting a fellow (amazing) photographer is crazy intimidating! But when they show up looking gorgeous EVERY year it makes it easy! I bring the camera and smarties and they bring the pretty!
And every year we do them in their IU duds and even tho I'm a Purdue grad.. their IU pics always turn out ADORABLE! Mariah & Lucas's day was amazing! I had a lot of favorite parts of their day but the absolute BEST part was the gifts they gave each other. Lucas wrote and illustrated a children's book for his teacher (children's book loving) bride. She gave him a heartfelt video of people she interviewed proclaiming how wonderful of a guy he was. Their wedding day was the beginning of an AMAZING start of a family and I can't wait to see what all they become! Have fun in Hawaii, guys! Confession.. I don't close my eyes during prayer at weddings. I want to get sweet images that many don't see when THEIR eyes are closed. My favorite is when dad's secretly wipe away their tears durning prayer in hopes that no one sees them. I caught Ross wiping away his tears from giving away his last daughter. What a treasure to have these images! A bit of a cake tipping scare leads to a really great cake smash... When the bride and her dad choreograph their daddy-daughter dance... you KNOW there will be some epic photos!
