You will NEVER guess how hot it was at Amy's session! She looked gorgeous and glowing all while I was a sweaty mess! She was the sweetest girl and so, so beautiful! It was an honor to meet her!

Anna and Mike were surrounded by their closest friends and family at their backyard wedding! It was quaint and so, so sweet. They were wed in the backyard of not only Mike's childhood home but his father's childhood home as well! Anna and Mike were a dream to work with and they both work for the parks in Chesterton so we had to visit the Indiana dunes for a portion of their portrait time! It was perfection and I hope they cherish these images for decades and decades to come! Enjoy the story of their day told through my lens. Their first look and the letters they wrote to each other did not disappoint! They are just the sweetest! Time for a backyard wedding ceremony! This was such a sweet part of their ceremony.. their pastor asked them to look around at their friends and family and Anna became emotional. I'm pretty sure she could feel the love looking right back at her! It's not a complete backyard wedding with out a food truck, right? SUCH a fun idea! First dance time! SUCH an amazing day spent with Anna and Mike and their wedding day! May all their years be as wonderful as their wedding day!
The day finally came for Emily and Noah to profess their love before their friends and family! What an amazing celebration it was too.. the day was perfect and every detail was put into action. They were married at the sweetest barn Homestead 1835 Events . I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images from the day that reveal the story of their day. The perfect day that September 9th, 2017 was! The day of their wedding! First look.. always a fun time to see a groom see his bride for the first time! Noah talked to his bride the ENTIRE way down the isle! I hope they always remember what they chatted about after they'd be announced Mr. and Mrs. !!!!! And now it's time for the party!!!! A grandma with her iphone will ALWAYS get in my bride and groom's gallery! I just love a hip grannie! This venue.. THIS VENUE! So amazing! Noah and his mama invited all mom and son couples to the dance floor and did a faster dance.. it was epic! SUCH an amazing, amazing day! Thank you Noah and Emily for inviting me into your day! May your marriage be just as amazing as your wedding day was!
My word.. could a family BE any more adorable!?!?!? This session was mostly to document Christian's senior year but his family came along for some updated family shots. It's been COLD here in northern Indiana so we even found some fall looking spots at the beginning of September!
Christian runs like the wind.. he's done a mile under 5 minutes before! Incredible! After we hit up some urban and old factory spots we finished with a running silhouette. Session was amazing! GOSH i love senior sessions where a horse gets to join us! Rebekah was gorgeous, Doc her horse was super handsome and our weather was perfection. Made for a gorgeous shoot!
When I met Mary at our bridal consultation before she had selected a wedding photographer.. I simply fell in love with her vision of her wedding day! They wanted a backyard wedding by a creek and wanted to dance under big trees with Eddison bulbs strung from tree to tree. They had been together for four years and had both grown up Amish. Since they had found a love with each other and a renewed love for God. Their wedding was soooo Christ-centered.. 400 of their closest friends and family got to witness their love for each other and their love for Jesus! Their day went perfectly and I was completely what they had envisioned. I was honored to be apart of it and would love for you to look through the highlights of their day through my lens. Time for the ceremony! Complete with benches the bride and groom made themselves.. enough to seat 400+ people! Best ring bearer signs ever!!! There may be ton of kid pictures in the post because they were everywhere! LOVE it! Their yard games were sooooo cool! Never seen a life-sized connect four! The new Mr. and Mrs. Yutzy! Love the little girls staring at the bride and groom! May your days be filled with love and laughter.. just like your wedding day was!
Gall's are ALWAYS a treat to catch up with! Oldest son John was an infant when we started our yearly sessions! Now he's a 1st grader! Man time flies!
