i love this family.
seriously do. they've been with me since their 2nd grade son, Gunner, was 18 months old! Love, love, love it when clients keep coming back from year to year. they are a total joy to work with. and we made the realization that this has been the ONLY year that it hasn't been 105 degrees or -40 for our session. NO JOKE! It was in the 70's and gorgeous.. just like them! next up, the shultz family! we've been together for years now! last year.. jocelyn had a fever. this year it's was graham's turn. poor kid is a serious kid by nature and add a bit of a fever and I was standing on my head to get him to smile! He was tylenoled all up so I was able to get few out of him. The girls were all wound up so they were easy! enjoy as you scroll down! sister giggles are the BEST! I'd canvas this REAL big! heart. strings. pulled! 10 years going strong! happy 10th anniversary this year, matt and becky! we gotcha to smile, graham! #OnePointForUs my fave from the sessions!
always love my annual session with the mathews! the kids were crazy active and energetic and it was fun to grab them every once in awhile and get a picture or two. we also met up at the barn where mya takes riding lessons. HAD to include some images with her favorite horse! This image TOTALLY shows Mya's personality! brantley's dad was kinda a football stud back in the day. =) when I say kinda I mean completely a stud. =) so this image is probably of MANY of mr. brantley scoring some touchdowns!
This was a normal family session turned extended family! and i'm so glad they did. =) they were so, so pleasant and easy to work with not to mention look at this bunch! they are mighty fine looking to boot! fifty years this year and look at the way he looks at her! LOVE IT! grandpa asked for a picture with is grandkiddos with the tractor so I delivered! this one right here is for the wall.
above the fireplace, right grandma miller? =) not gunna lie.. I was SUPER excited for this wedding! when tiffany originally met up with me as we discussed the possibility of me doing her wedding.. one of the first things she said was that her location was a photo op at every angle! um.. she was totally right! it was at the kellogg manor house in michigan and completely breath taking. the mansion was so fitting for tiffany and clay's nuptials. they are a gorgeous, soft spoken couple and their wedding was perfect. without further ado.. let's look at some of their images from that day! this staircase.. we read the history on it and it took 2 men 2 years to custom carve it back in the early 1900's! it was a perfect backdrop for tiffany's dress. completely stunning. in every way! meanwhile the boys get a good game of pool on... clay and his nieces were simply adorable! they ADORE him! clay and tiffany wanted to wait until their ceremony to see each other so we did a sweet father/daughter first glance on the beautiful staircase. i think he approved! and then it was time for the ceremony! love this shot that my second shooter, kelli rasler, got of the nieces coming down the isle! the entry of the bride and her daddy was magical.. seriously! some of the best shots of the day are shortly after the bride and groom walk down the isle and think they are out of site. I just loved this.. true, raw emotion! now for some formal shots! now it's time for the reception! so classy and sweet and intimate. it was delightful. =) clay and tiffany's dancing together was pretty epic! something tells me they practiced at home. =) no reception is complete without a twirling flower girl. =) thank you, clay and tiffany! for being awesome and desiring for me to be apart of your day. happy to be apart of it!
um.. this family.
this family is the real deal! they are as sweet as they are adorable. their girlies are so well behaved and just happy little things. they enjoyed all the games we played and loved loving on each other. all in all a win. total win. get ready to oooo and ahhhhh over this adorable family!
the frisby's have been with me since their 2 year old was days old. I LOVE it when I create relationships with my clients and they keep coming back! It's such an honor! oh.. this couple has chemistry! I seriously put the camera up to my face and their magic started happening! They got all giggly and cute and it flowed so well. They are naturals behind the lens and I can't wait until their wedding next summer! the rock.. I KNOW! the lighting was perfection! then they were ready for the "fight"! they brought some color dust and we got a bit dirty. it was incredibly fun!
this family decided that it was time for an updated extended family session. grandma is in her 90's and they wanted to document her legacy on the family farm. and man did I hit the jackpot with such beautiful families! I knew about half of the family and it was fun to meet the other half.
it was an honor to be apart of capturing this family! |
