kieper family session

LOVE this family! We've done family pictures before and I took Jenna's senior pics last year.. both girls were on my hubby's track team too. loved getting together with them again last Friday! you can tell they love each other and LIKE each other! love it when siblings get to that stage. crave it every, single day here at my house. =)

lederman family session

I was SO happy to get the lederman's on my schedule! they are the sweetest family and I KNEW they'd be easy to photograph! man was I right! big sis Tenley was a hoot and a half and i think she had fun at our session playing my games. She woke up the next morning and did a "sneak attack" on her parents in their bed! anyone that has had a session with me knows what game we were playing!
all in all an amazing session and SO FUN. thanks for choosing me, lederman's!

i am in love with the below image. i'm pretty sure it's the image that EVERY mama wants with each of their children!

it was perfect, just perfect!
I've me up with this family twice now and just love getting to know them! they are SO in love with their baby girl and it's just fun to watch. I wish EVERY family loved their kids like jamey and colin love miss bennett!

if you are from indiana and have the chance to have a picture taken in a cornfield near sundown... you really should do it. =)
so we did it and LOVE the outcome!

i drove to jamey's home that she grew up in. it was sooooo worth it! so many meaningful places and we were able to document some of her faves like this amazing willow tree!

schmidt family session

yet another family that I LOVE shooting! and this isn't just any family.. they are my cousins! they live in Japan 99.9% of the year but visit every summer. SO honored that they always want family pictures while they are home!

this year is anniversary #15 for lisa and matt! we went back to the location where they had their engagement pictures taken.
Yep, you can say it.. "AHHHH!"

the the blooper of the night.. i told the kids, "get behind me and make mom and dad laugh!"
which they thought i said "to get behind mom and dad and make ME laugh."
welp.. it worked.
I laughed!
And so did mom and dad! INCLUDING some double bunny-ear-making photo bombers!

ryan+emily wedding

ryan and emily.. just about THE sweetest couple you could meet! i get to know my wedding couples pretty well and these two are both the kindest, soft spoken sweethearts you will find. and their wedding conveyed that.
the ceremony was SO meaningful and deliberate.
they are just one of those couples that makes ya smile when you think about them.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed my day with them on June 28th!

and who would guess that in the below images that it was lightly sprinkling!
Emily had an amazing attitude..
and amazing hairspray!

"hey guys.. don't pay attention to me and just get lost in the moment."
and then they did this..
SHUT UP they make my job easy!

happy, more casual bridal party images are way better then traditional ones, in my opinion! but their gallery includes both, amen. =)

classic and traditional images will always be that.. classic and traditional (left below image).
but if it were me?
I'd print the laughing bridesmaid image (right below image) hands down. =)

oh ya know.. just hanging out on a wet bridge. =)

emily requested the b-maids chalkboard image below.
turned out great!

and detail shots are always some of my faves.

brides get extra bonus points when they have gerbera daisies in their bouquet.
#1 they are my fave flower.
#2 they were in my own wedding bouquet.
#3 they photograph well cuz they are so bright and fun.
#4 they are just plain awesome.
#5 that is all. =)

their first look was simply amazing. =) so sweet and enduring...

and groom ryan started praying with his hours-away-from-being-his-wife and I teared up. what an amazing foundation to start their wedding day with! asking for blessings from Jesus!

it takes a village to raise a child...
or more like it takes a village to get on a wedding dress!

capturing a daddy and his daughter walking down the isle is one of my favorite things about weddings. Oh.. and getting the groom's reaction too. =)

one of the coolest parts of the ceremony.. their wedding party surrounding them in prayer.

so.
much.
emotion after they were pronounced husband and wife!

then it was time to party!
emily was ready!

and eat...

and some dancing...

they were so sweet and dainty with their cake sharing!

their dance floor was FULL most of the time!
The BEST!

and they were sent off with a balloon release... and emily's dad setting off the car alarm on the corvette and ryan thought it was his slip up.
good times, good times!

what an amazing day!

smiley. full of personality. actually ate his smash cake!
you just never know what they'll do with it!
can't believe our baby package year is over.. SO thoroughly enjoyed his first year sessions!

betty+jerry couples session

Well THIS was a special session! Mrs. Lambert was my 4th grade teacher! She SERIOUSLY has not changed.. one bit. She hasn't aged and as she did a wardrobe change she was cheerfully singing in the bathroom.. just like I remembered her singing all around her room as a 4th grader! She's one of those people that exudes joy. And seeing them together and the love they still have after 45 years (July 19th) warmed my heart.

SO honored to have done this session, Mrs. & Mr. Lambert! I still can't bring myself to call you guys Betty and Jerry!

evelyn 1 year session

ah.. another baby packager comes to an end as she hits the big 1.0! miss evelyn was a hard sell on tuesday evening.. she wanted to be on mama's hip but we managed to pry her off for just a few by herself. it's been a honor to be with you guys all year.. thanks for choosing me!

grandma showed up and miss evie had nothing but smiles for us!

chupp extended family session

this family is the best. =)
it has been 4 years since we had the entire family together for some images so it was DUE TIME for some updated pictures! I believe they added 4 members to the family since our last extended session! the kids were SO GOOD as I barged into their lake vacation together at 8am in the morning. we had a great time and mama and papa chupp are soooo blessed!

papa chupp may or may not have been shaking the pier to freak out mama chupp. either way it produced the CUTEST image!

walter family session

walter family session was just a few days ago!
they are just the most beautiful family, don't ya agree? Their attire was perfect in the tall grass and wildflower field. Gotta tell ya, tho.. miss two year old Charlotte was a hard sell! we jumped and sweat and bribed with candy.. i do believe we won in the end! have some gorgeous images to prove it!
