I had an amazing old blog that I absolutely loved and had a decent amount of followers. I had fun with it.. was honest as I documented my imperfections along with sharing how my little ladies were growing up.
By no means am I any less busy or any more perfect (HA!).. I'm just not chasing toddlers anymore and my business and editing runs like a well-oiled machine. =) I think it's time to add a few "personal" categories to my blog header so some of my new fans, clients, family and friends can take a peak into my life. The many, many blessings, funnies and activities that make up my life!
So here we go! www.darcyholsopplephotography.com's first personal blog post! The start of many!!!
***
Last Saturday the hubs and I took our three girlfriends to a high school play, Cinderella. The girls were ecstatic to meet a real-live princess AND excited that I let them wear their Easter attire. Their "curly" Matilda Jane pants, as they call them. We went out to my backyard studio and plopped on my new couch. (And the new couch is a blog post of it's own.. that gorgeous jewel was $129. Yep, you read that right! Brand new and $129!!! One of our local furniture places has a scratch and dent area and this new couch had some dirt on it. Scrubbed it clean and it will be perfect for my office at the new house!)
I wanted a few candid and a few portrait-y poses of the ladies and this is what they gave me...
100% THEM!
First one up.. an awkward hand placement image. Always gotta have at least one. =)
We'll have to replicate this image at Adie's wedding. I'm sure my shyer, more private daughter will appreciate that!
Two looking all cute and one being completely insane.
For those of you that know my ladies.. THIS picture is totally Emery.
She's nuts, ya all!
It happens almost daily.
She's a blunt-force-ball-of-a-3-year-old.
Not every blog post will have a Full House lovey dovey ending (que the sappy music!) .. but I'm for serious.
I look at these ladies in awe of them. They made me a mama.. a better woman and I am so, so proud of them.
And pretty sure ALL these images are going to be a collage in the house.. they make me happy!
