Til next time, Justin and Heather!
Heather and Justin's annual session was last evening! AND Layla got to come! Confession.. my goal when a 4-legged family member comes to a session is to get them to do the "head cock" while I'm talking about treats, long walks and going bye-bye. Layla gave me MANY so I consider it a win!
Til next time, Justin and Heather!
Been with the Miller family for YEARS! It was time for an updated family pic! God bless them for being able to do an early morning session! Aren't they just gorgeous?
Our annual meet up for family pics with the Edwards family coming atcha! And let me tell ya.. shooting a fellow (amazing) photographer is crazy intimidating! But when they show up looking gorgeous EVERY year it makes it easy! I bring the camera and smarties and they bring the pretty!
And every year we do them in their IU duds and even tho I'm a Purdue grad.. their IU pics always turn out ADORABLE!
Mariah & Lucas's day was amazing! I had a lot of favorite parts of their day but the absolute BEST part was the gifts they gave each other. Lucas wrote and illustrated a children's book for his teacher (children's book loving) bride. She gave him a heartfelt video of people she interviewed proclaiming how wonderful of a guy he was. Their wedding day was the beginning of an AMAZING start of a family and I can't wait to see what all they become!
Have fun in Hawaii, guys!
Confession.. I don't close my eyes during prayer at weddings. I want to get sweet images that many don't see when THEIR eyes are closed.
My favorite is when dad's secretly wipe away their tears durning prayer in hopes that no one sees them. I caught Ross wiping away his tears from giving away his last daughter. What a treasure to have these images!
A bit of a cake tipping scare leads to a really great cake smash...
When the bride and her dad choreograph their daddy-daughter dance... you KNOW there will be some epic photos!
The rain sure didn't dampen Kinza and Chip's wedding day! Cliche but we had horrendous storms the night before and it was supposed to rain through our scheduled portrait time but the Lord cleared the sky for us to get in their pictures! The rest of the day was spent celebrating with their family and friends. The first day of the rest of their lives was COMPLETELY blessed! And downright gorgeous.
Last night's session was with the Mathews family!!! We met on their new farm!!!!! It was crazy charming and I'm pretty sure I want to shoot there every year with them from here on out! Till next time, Mathews fam!
Marissa and Brett are MARRIED!
Yesterday's nuptuals were filled with soooooo much fun! The anticipation, planning and details of this day for Marissa and Brett went without a hitch. The first day of the rest of their lives was a GREAT one!
This is Allison and Nick.. a September 2020 couple! We met this morning for an early sunrise session and it was PERFECT! We shot on the farm that Allison grew up on and their puppy kids even got to be apart of the session!
Galls are on the docket today for editing and sharing with all of you!!! We have been together for years and years and years and I look forward to our session each year. Their boys are SO respectful and we have a great time! Til next year, Galls!
Meet a fall 2020 bride and groom, Alejandra and David!
When Ale suggested we hit Thistleberry Farm for some engagement pictures in their sunflower and zinnia fields, I was alllll on board! Flower fields are the best! Stick gorgeous Ale and David in the midst of this little slice of heaven on earth and an amazing session results.
They were sooooo sweet on each other and my camera only captured just a bit of how smitten they are with each other.
