Amanda+Jake wedding, goshen Indiana wedding photographer

This was a special wedding.. Amanda the bride is my cousin!  We've gotten to know Jake over the last year and we can NOT be happier that he's now officially apart of the family! 

They planned their wedding lightening fast.. just a few months! They leave for medical school for Jake soon so wedding plans needed to take place quickly! They did an AMAZING job and their wedding was meaningful and gorgeous and filled with all of their loved ones.

Their nieces were the life of the party, that's for sure!

First looks with brides and their dads are one of the best parts of the day! Roger's reaction to how beautiful Amanda was was priceless!

Next up.. Jake and Amanda get to see each other for the first time!

Amanda had always dreamed of getting married at her childhood church, East Goshen Mennonite. The ceremony was soooooo sweet and meaningful and full of Jesus!

Love it when the pastor has the bride and groom turn around and look at all the people that are in support of their marriage.. it usually brings tears to the couples eyes!

And then it's time for the party! Their reception was at a newly remodeled barn venue, Meadow Brook Barn. 

They had a live band that was FABULOUS!

Of course there was some cake eating... 

And first dancing... 

And Amanda's dad, Roger, was first up with toasts. He HAD to gift his new son-in-law a Pittsburg Steelers Terrible Towel.. but of course. 

So when the glasses "dinged" asking the bride and groom kiss.. Jake twirled around his new terrible towel!

Daddy/daughter dances get me EVERY time!

Now it's time for everyone to dance! Matt and Eli started everyone out on the dance floor!

Even uncle Roger cut a rug on the dance floor!

Amanda thought they were doing a sparkler send off.. Nope! A helicopter flew to the barn and landed in the backyard as all the guests waived goodbye!  How's that for a fun send off?
